New scratch pad

My human has brought me a gift.
This will repay all the meeces I've offered him.

I went to meow at one of the doors, to be let out,
and he's put a strange, brown thing on the floor by it.

I walked on the strange brown thing. It's scrunchy and rough.
It says 'Welcome' on it.
I dug a claw into it. It felt good.
I dug all of my claws into it. It felt really good.
I clawed and clawed at it. Mmmm.

I think it's my new favourite scratching thing.
