Sleep struggles

It was warm last night. I couldn't get comfy.

I tried sleeping on my human's feet. Too hot.

I tried sleeping by his head. Too hot.

I tried sleeping between his legs. Too hot.

I tried sleeping on his head. He wriggled.

I tried sleeping by his arm. Too hot.

I walked a few circles at the end of the bed.

My human made a huffing noise.

I feel asleep by his leg.

Bad view

I was by the window today.

I was watching a pigeon.

I chattered at it.

I was really close to the window. My whiskers touched it.

I got annoyed though. As I sat there, the view got worse and worse. It was really dim and foggy, then I couldn't see the pigeon at all.

I don't know what happened, but I didn't like it.
I meowed at my human.

Food tactics

I like spending time with my human, but I also have three other humans I visit.

I like lots of attention and chin tickles from all of my humans... I also like food. I have found that, unfortunately, humans can be quite difficult to train - I have to get food from them in very different ways.

My usual human responds to me staring at him, letting out little sad meows, then rubbing and headbutting his legs. This usually gets him to fill my bowl with tuna, salmon, or beef.

My human over the road only responds to my long, yowling meow, or if I sit directly next to the big cold thing. This makes her open the door to the big cold thing and give me some ham.

My human to the right of my usual human's house needs prompting by me walking on his feet and rolling over to show my belly. I then get belly rubs and, more importantly, chicken.

My human to
the left of my usual human's house requires a less subtle approach: I have to paw at her legs and, sometimes, jump onto whatever she's reading. She often gives me prawns. I like prawns.

Humans - I wish you were easier to train.

My tail

I was staring at my tail earlier.

It flapped.

It swished.

It flicked at the end.

It wagged.

It swished.

I got bored.

I blinked.

I had a nap.

Too short

There's something that annoys me. I thought I was quite a long cat. This means that when I stand on my back legs I become a tall cat.

I'm not quite tall enough though...

I can stretch up to the door handle in my human's room, I can reach it with the tip of my paws... but I can't pull it down to open the door - I can only flap at it.

This makes me sad.

But it does come with one advantage - I can flap and flap at the door handle until my human has to pay me attention. This is good. It means I get fed quicker.

Not a tail

I was by my human's bed today, when something caught my eye... a meece's tail. It was long, and thin, and black.

I hid round the corner from the bed, by some clothes. I watched the tail. It didn't move... sneaky mouse.

I swished my own tail, crouched down, carefully followed the tail with my eyes.... then ran out and pounced on it! It was in my front paws and I bunny-kicked with my back paws!

I'd caught it!
I'd caught it! I'd caught it! I'd... it wasn't moving. It wasn't struggling. It wasn't even trying to escape. I bit it and it didn't wriggle.

I pulled on it, it came out from under the bed a bit... and I realised it was the wire I've seen my human put into the talky thing he puts to his ear. It wasn't a tail.

I was sad.

I had a nap.

Drips

There's this big thing that my human stands under, and it covers him with water.
I think it washes him - I've never seen him lick himself.

He used it this morning, then disappeared.

After I'd eaten, I stood by it and saw that it kept dripping. I like drips. They're interesting.

I stared up at it and waited for each drip.

It dripped.

It dripped.

It dripped.

It dripped.

It dripped.

It dripped.

It dripped.

I got tired and had a nap.
